2020 Bahamas Hurricane Relief Trip
Dates & Times
Jan 5-10, 202012:00am - 11:30pm
On September 1, Hurricane Dorian—the strongest storm in history to strike the Bahamas—stalled over 96-mile-long Grand Bahama Island, just off the coast of Florida, whipping tornado winds non-stop over the residents who call this island home. A large percentage of homes and buildings were affected and many families in the area were without insurance. The people of Grand Bahama Island will spend years recovering from this disaster and rebuilding their lives, as more than 75,000 people have been displaced.
We will join Experience Mission, a Christian missions organization, as they help to restore the damage caused by Hurricane Dorian. We will leave January 5th, return January 10th, and will partner with local churches to provide assistance in a number of ways. For more information on what the work will actually look like, visit https://experiencemission.org/mission-trips/hurricane-relief-bahamas.
There will be required training/study days immediately following the second service on the following dates:
-November 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th
- December 8th and 15th
Please register only if you can attend all of the meetings.
